
Lakewood alum Fowler making a big difference in training
NEWARK – He’s on a path to enable other folks – in much the way he was assisted.
“As a child,” commenced Denver Fowler, “I would have to say I mainly dreamed of staying a professional athlete or fighter jet pilot. Outside the house of that, I also thought a good deal about turning out to be a coal miner or becoming a member of the armed forces as my grandpa Fowler coal mined his entire life in the point out of West Virginia (just before dying of black lung illness), my grandma Fowler was a Rosie the Riveter, my grandpa Moran was a tank commander in World War II (fighting in two major strategies, Normandy and the Fight of the Bulge), and I had many uncles in the armed service.”

“Like most young ones who improve up with minor to no funds,” he said, “raised by a solitary mother and moved about a ton, I would describe myself as a kid who was somewhat shed to say the least. Even so, I experienced a real champion and advocate in my mom and my grandparents. You know the expressing, ‘If you want your small children to convert out nicely, invest 2 times as substantially time with them, and 50 % as much dollars?’ Effectively, I had that, and I wouldn’t transform everything about my childhood.”
